Miami Fashion Week Swim 2011 has wrapped up and we've seen the latest in swim fashion from designers Trina Turk, Ed Hardy, Poko Pano and Nicolita. This 5-day show highlighted bright colors, bold prints, metallics, and cutouts. This group of designers contrasted each other, Trina Turk and Luli Fama were outstanding and gave us some fresh new swimsuits that are guaranteed to be hit next summer.
White Sands Australia went for a retro vibe and featured high-waisted bottoms; floral and abstract prints in oranges, browns and greens. Trina Turk dominated with bold colors and prints; the suits were dynamic, fun and totally chic.
Luli Fama bikinis were bright and colorful; incorporating the latest trend of cutouts into her designs. Hot pink and turquoise were everywhere and the suits were edgy and fashion forward, a fantastic collection. "I think it's not about age. It's not about your body," said Luli Fama designer Lourdes Hanimian. "While you feel good and it makes you feel happy, you wear that swimsuit."
Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian teamed up with Beach Bunny to design a line of swimsuits for the 2011 season. Paired with thigh-highs and feather boas, the collection was sexy and resembled lingerie, not for the shy at heart!
