La Semana de la Moda de París se conforman de nueve días en los que hay nada menos que 89 pasarelas, además de varios desfiles y eventos fuera del circuito, hasta el 10 de marzo.
Son las colecciones del prêt-à- porter femenino para el otoño-invierno 2010/11.
De momento, ya desfilaron firmas como
Rochas o
Felipe Oliveira han mostrado ya sus propuestas. Y se esperan a los grandes como
Dior a la cabeza, el sábado para Jean-Paul Gaultier, el domingo el modisto alemán
Karl Lagerfeld, el lunes lo reparten entre
Kenzo y
Stella McCartney y el martes será para
Chanel.
Y la ausencia de
Alexander McQueen dejará su huella. Las prendas que el diseñador británico realizó antes de suicidarse el pasado 11 de febrero sólo serán exhibidas en un contexto más privado. El desfile de su colección que se había previsto para el 9 de marzo se canceló pues "no había suficiente material para hacer un pase completo", de acuerdo con sus colaboradores.
